Release Notes:
Talented, charismatic, and inspired, Zack Weber is a budding singer/songwriter
with unstoppable drive and positive focus. Flourishing in his home state of
Missouri, he is St. Charles' best kept secret. Zack delivers a special kind of
music touching on several different flavors with a tone, melody or lyric for
everyone. At the young age of 18 Zack has already created timeless music, songs
that will reach people of all ages and give them something to believe in,
something to enjoy and something to spend a lifetime sharing with others.
At the age of 13, Zack formed a band called The Rove, playing around town at
graduation parties and small venues. Eventually in 2003 the band played the
O'fallon Heritage and Freedom Festival, with many well-known bands including
Charlie Daniels and Kansas. Local television appearances included the O'fallon
channel's Acoustic Bean, a program showcasing local talent, a charity marathon
for volunteer workers, and St. Louis' KMOV Channel 4 Mid coast Mania program on
which they were given a one-hour segment to showcase their talent.
At 16, through the guidance of a local music producer, Zack set out to pursue a
solo career. He took the opportunity to explore songwriting that was more
flavorful and dynamic, drawing on such influences as Jack Johnson, Green Day,
Oasis, Sublime and Metallica, and creating a hybrid of songs that were unique
and edgy. In the summer of 2004, Zack opened for Grammy award-winning acts John
Mayer and Maroon 5, and toured with them for four shows on Mayer's ôHeavier
Thingsö tour. His on-stage presence and interaction with the audience quickly
won him new fans across the Midwest and on the west coast. Then in 2005, Zack
performed for 92.3 WIL's Christmas Show at the Family Arena, opening for
Grammy-nominated artist Sugarland.
In Spring 2006, just short of his high school graduation, Zack reunited with a
the local music producer, signed a letter of intent and headed to Nashville to
record his first album with Producer David LaBruyere, of John Mayer, Onree Gill,
music director of Alicia Keys, JJ Jarrod Johnson drummer of Sugarland, Lenny
Kravitz and John Mayer, Paul (Phinky) John, drummer and percussionist of Alicia
Keys and a great cast of other local Nashville musicians, including string
players, horn players and a tap dancer.
Zack has spent a good portion of his school years involved in drama and
theatrical performances. Aside from this, he has already been a part of and
played in over 300 live performances in the Mid-West and West coast and plans to
attack the rest of the United States and the rest of the world in the coming
years. Post studio activities will involve shooting a video for the first single
off of his first record, touring extensively within the US and moving heavily
into the global entertainment world.
