- Release Notes ------------------------------------------------------------- -
Harrisons may have emerged from the same 'scene' as the all-conquering Arctic
Monkeys, but they've only received a small percentage of the attention of
their simian cousins. And, judging on this single, they deserve one hell of a
lot more. 'Monday's Arms' is a masterful indie-pop tune that could be setting
indie discos alight with its simple-yet-effective four-four beat and
singalong lyrics. It's as infectious as any song you're likely to hear a lot
of this year.
There's a remix by American Pop Band that's got a longer, bassier 'Blue
Monday' sound to it, but stick to the original to get the full 'oomph'.
