- Release Notes ------------------------------------------------------------- -
The Bishops return with this gritty, hard edged single taken from their hotly
anticipated eponymous debut album.Liam Watson (The White Stripes producer)
and his analogue studio Toe Rag once again produces a record that is razor
sharp and replete with energy.Yet The Bishops go far beyond any 60s
comparisons through their ability to create an intelligent, contemporary
sound which draws upon a range of classic influences whilst still creating
something new, original and exciting.Armed with addictive melodies,
compulsive rhythms and particularly alluring suits, The Bishops are
rightfully carving their own unique place in the modern indie spectrum. If
2007 continues as the previous year, the bandÆs ascension toward indie
prominence will be swift. The Bishops are playing dates in February, a UK
club tour in March, and a full UK tour in April.ôTimeless melodies from the
golden era of pop û who says they donÆt make æem like they used to?ö
