█░█ The story of The Electric Pop Group began in May █░█
█░█ 2003, when Martin met LinnΘa. They got together █░█
█░█ on an internet dating site, and soon after this, █░█
█░█ Martin wrote the song "Popgirly", the lyrics are █░█
█░█ about how they met. Martin recorded the song and █░█
█░█ gave it to LinnΘa as a gift of love. █░█
█░█ █░█
█░█ Later, Martin wrote and recorded some more songs, █░█
█░█ and the idea of starting a band began to grow. █░█
█░█ He asked his brother Erik, with whom he had █░█
█░█ played in some bands during the early nineties, █░█
█░█ if he would like to play guitar in the new group. █░█
█░█ Erik said he would. LinnΘa joined as keyboard █░█
█░█ player, and the group was formed in 2005. █░█
█░█ █░█
█░█ The group played live for the first time in March █░█
█░█ 2006, and soon after this, they started recording █░█
█░█ an album. By this time, Erik was writing his █░█
█░█ first songs. █░█

█░█ The debut album was released in December 2006, █░█
█░█ and to the great surprise of the group, it was █░█
█░█ incredibly well received by the audience, and by █░█
█░█ bloggers all around the world, earning them █░█
