Release Notes
Chaishop Compilation 001 (released spring 1999) got very good feedback from
all over the world for its progressive trance of "tomorrow". The concept
was to offer mostly unreleased tracks of very promising artists. Contained
were i.e. Earth, Element and Tarsis who were partly unknown at that time.
Today they are a standard in every djs repertoire. Chaishop Compilation 001
sold about 3000 times.
Today progressive trance is present at every trance party worldwide. It has
even made its way into techno parties. And people found out that it's much
nicer for home listening than (full-on) psychedelic trance.
Chaishop Compilation 002 is meant to continue the direction the first
compilation took. It is a journey through high quality progressive trance
of today and tomorrow. All but one track are previously unreleased.
You will find very promising artists from Sweden, Switzerland, UK and
Germany. Most of them are still unknown, but I think they will not be
for long!
Chaishop Compilation 002 is compiled by Markus of Chaishop, DJs Tobias &
Daniel S.U.N. and DJ Philipp. Together they just founded the labels Sunset
Recordings and Plastik Park. Their combined contacts and ideas guarantee
innovative and smashing releases!
