Lovingly packaged and very limited 45 from New York's Bumrocks.com,
an MP3 blog par excellence frequented and contributed to by the
likes of Bill Brewster, Todd Terje, Tim Sweeney, Ivan Smagghe and
DJ Ayres. Apparently glommed from some very rare European singles,
these re-edits are some ultra-obscure gear that'll have even the
most seasoned disco spotters stumped! "Thank Youse" is a ridiculous
fiddle-funk disco number with infectious handclaps and scatty
vocals from beyond the Iron Curtain. Over on the flip is "Chunky
Stub", a dirty up-tempo raw soul tune sung by a suitably
gravely-voiced old timer.
