Following years spent plying his wares on Simma Black, Dennis Quin
made his PIV Records label debut in the spring of 2021. Since then,
he's bounced between imprints, most recently appearing on Eastenderz
and Constant Sound. This belated return to PIV is full of high-grade
gear, from the rolling '90s house nostalgia of Chesty collaboration
'Treat You Right' - all rubbery synth bass, sparkling synthesiser
chords, shuffling beats and loved-up vocal snippets - to the gorgeous,
vibraphone-sporting New Jersey garage revivalism of 'Impressions' and
the bouncy, sub-heavy, DJ Sneak-esque 'Touched'. To round off the
package, Quin delivers a dreamy, colourful and simply gorgeous 'Classy
Dub' of 'Treat You Right'.
