If you have been a fan of Sasha and John Digweed for the past 6 or 7 years,
then you'll probably remember their monumental Northern Exposure tour and
albums. Classic tunes of yesteryear, subtly mixed into the most awesome of
easy listening ambience and superb electronic music that has ever existed.
No albums since have come even halfway close to achieving the same feeling.
Music, that finds an entrance into your mind, your soul. It enters into the
darkness of your mind, adjusting your mind to the sound of its chords and
melodies. From nowhere comes this cascading waterfall of sound, and like a
rushing river through a cavern it draws ever nearer. Then suddenly it leaps
upon you, covering you with a sensation that sends a shiver down every nerve
in your body. The sound is so pure, so crystal clear, it takes over your mind,
and your emotions start to run, for they have nowhere to hide.
John Digweed obviously shares the same feeling about this mix, going on record
to call it "A great, really creative mix which tells a story..", and even
broadcasting the cd on his acclaimed KissFM show in late May 2001.
