Born in Bolton & located in Manchester, inspired by the
sonds of Sparklehorse Smog & Johnny Cash, Simon Alfred is
Cherry Ghost. Debut single 'Mathematics' perfectly
showcases the talent of Cherry Ghost, with duclet backing
harmonies soaring strings & shuffling kick drum, this is
Northern Soul for the 21t century.
Cherry Ghost have already appeared on Late with Jools
Holland, joining the elite group of artists to perform on
the show before even releasing a single. On tour they
supported Amy Winehouse & Polytechnic in February, with a
headline tour in March. Debut album due in July.
