Release Notes:

HAOD originated as a collaborative vehicle for creating and scoring film
(including the B thriller Good Chemistry and scoring the Academy Award winning
"Jesus Henry Christ") and video installations only to end up with this
incredible book of songs called "Symbols in the Architecture" driven by Jason
Reimer. As a reference to classic forms of symbolism in the architecture of our
modern america, this recording expresses the complexity and loneliness of the
feeling of a Chicago expatriot living in Texas during a time of political
tumult. "

There is a woeful loneliness that is represented fully on this recording, but
there's definitely a silver lining."Prior to finishing up what would become
"Symbols in the Architecture," Jason took a break to go on tour with the Baptist
Generals in Europe, stopping by to record for John Peel who would later feature
HAOD's single for two straight weeks. This record is epic in its content and
form, combining digital and traditional rock instrumentation to arrive at
beautifully crafted songs of desire.

Symbols in the Architecture features members from other collaborations including
Steve Hill (Baptist Generals, Burnt Sienna) Bryan VanDivier (South San Gabriel,
Wiring Prank)
