After signing to Simon Cowell's label Syco Music,
Ray Quinn's self-titled debut album is ready to be
released. The beautiful album is a collection of
Ray's favourite tracks, featuring songs originally
performed by legends such as Dean Martin, Sammy
Davis Jr. and the chairman, Frank Sinatra. 'Ray
Quinn' is the perfect opportunity for the man
himself to showcase his talents.
The album itself consists of thirteen tracks, eight
of which Ray performed on The X-Factor series and
due to incredible audience demand they are included
on his album. All the classics are there such as 'My
Way', 'Ain't That A Kick In The Head', 'Fly Me To
The Moon' and 'That's Life' which Ray sang with the
record breaking Westlife on The X Factor Final.
On the album Ray fully captures the spirit and image
of that unique time with immaculately tailored suits
and his trademark quiff. "I was born in the wrong
era really", he laughs. "I'm probably the only 18
year old in Liverpool who knows so much about that
kind of music. Instead of blasting out dance music
in my car, I'll have a swing tune turned up loud!
