Sound like Cello through a 4x12 uses guitar amp and effects and loops create
a huge sound. Melodic/aggressive/trippy.
I've been a Chicago based musician for the past 14 years but I grew up in
Los Angeles. I started out as a rock musician recording and touring with
Jason Narducy, first in Jason and Alison, and then Verbow. As Verbow we put
out 2 records, "Chronicles" and "White Out", produced by Bob Mould and Brad
Wood (respectively). Jason and I also recorded "Woodshed" as Jason and
Alison. Just cello, guitar and voice. Since then, I've been fortunate enough
to record and work with musicians such as Bob Mould, Frank Orrall,
Disturbed, Archer Prewitt and lots of amazing local Chicago musicians. Poet
Krista Franklin and I just finished an album inspired by Jimi Hendrix due to
come out this spring. My first solo album will also be on Cellobird Records
in February. I'm also currently working with Mordine and Company Dance
Theater as composer in residence.
