be reckoned with on the British Street Muzik scene and Birdie Roth is no exception.
Born and bred in Angel Town, London UK, considered as the heart of Brixton and dubbed
A-Town. The self proclaimed hustler had to learn to adapt to his environment fast in
order to survive. Being one of five to a single mother, Birdie knew by the age of 14
that fending for himself was the only option and found various ways of making money,
and to this day has never looked back. The high rise flats and constant police sirens
as well as the trials and tribulations faced by many young men born into similar
circumstances are apparent in his lyrics. Real life and real talk have made sure that
Birdie and the rest of the PDC set remain forerunners in flying the flag for British
Hip Hop. PDC have managed to distinguish themselves from the other guys still left in
the struggle by becoming commentators of the street and enlightening the rest of the
world to a plight that many inner city kids face, which some people naively believe
only happens in American Gangster Flicks. Coming a long way from being just on the
road and making songs in bedrooms, multi talented, Birdie can be found rapping in the
booth, producing as well as maintaining the PDC headquarters. The hands on approach
is key in achieving this type of success. Being a member of the family means Birdie
brings to the table what ever he can including; responding personally to the fans
questions, promotion, producing the mix tapes and covers, even making sure the songs
get to Mykal Million on time to Produce the mix tapes which are always eagerly
anticipated and well received by the fans. Street Muzik is set to take over with PDC
being the founders in terms of its British roots. Birdie and the rest of the set are
