Note: this is a more experimental record from Mad Mike and the title
track in particular has some weird pitch shifting/cutups on the
breakdowns... this is on the record and not a result of any anomolies
whilst recording! :)

A very welcome return to the scene from UR's Mad Mike with a bit of a
shocker, Detroit does 2-step! Blending the hi-tech funk style of
recent UR releases with a distinctly US garage flavour, Mad Mike
takes a fresh and optimistic route for UR with 'Hi-tech dreams',
skippin and bouncina along with some footwork inspiring edits,
classic UR keys and that essential hi-tech funk. Furthering the
experimental vibes, ' Hold my own' on the flip is a grungy hiphop
number which sounds like it should be on 45, and 'lo-tech reality'
with a funked Prince alike beatbox, darkside 313 vibes and some
spoken word intonations. The A-side may be a little too much for the
purists but f*ck em, its wicked, welcome back UR...
