. Cassino & Laben, or rather Andrea Cassino (27 years old) .
. and Alex Laben (25 years old), are born in a small town .
. situated in the heart of Italy, where they are still .
. living. Their ways met in 1999, while they were working as .
. dj and pr in the same club. Right from the beginning, .
. their friendship, the same way of thinking, the same .
. feelings about music turned into a real passion. The .
. mutual understanding between the two turned out to be .
. highly positive and driven by an uncontrollable will to do .
. something tangible, they began their plan called Cassino & .
. Laben, in 2001. Privately organized evenings and parties .
. with friends, their plan was tirelessly gaining ground in .
. the italian underground scene and, thanks to this .
. fast-growing, in 2003 they began to cooperate with .
. Intooitiv Crew, organizing one night at the Ex-Mud club .
. Fiorentino, where they stayed till the beginning of the .
. .
. Their dj set consists of an endless excursion among .
. different sounding contaminations, from break beat to .
. deep, from progressive to electronic house, providing an .
. overwhelming voyage to discover new elegant and exquisite .
. sonorities. Their Background is completely selected by .
. themselves with a lot of competence, while in the dj set .
. scene you will find Alex Laben at the consolle, even if .
. the presence of Andrea Cassino in their sets is of .
. essential importance. Not to forget that the plan Cassino .
. & Laben began with the union between a producer (Andrea .
. Cassino) and a dj (Alex Laben) and this is the reason why .
. their expressive method is always changing. Among their .
. future plans, there is the will to realize and develop a .
. their own live set performance, in order to be able to .
. express themselves simultaneously. All these experiences .
. came through in their productions and with time they .

. In 2002 Cassino and Laben knew Stefano Greppi (Screen .
. Recordings) by chance: immediately, they became friends .
. and, through Stefano’s advice and experience, they .
. acquired more self-confidence and conviction to go on .
. their way... The dj producer and discographic dj Stefano .
. Greppi, thanks again to his professionalism, perceived the .
. potential of the duo and gave them a dub version to do for .
. the B side of the plan "Against the Grain", which contains .
. a Harry Lemon aka Lemon8’s version in the A side; thus a .
. really good debut album, which allowed Cassino & Laben to .
. appear in the discographic world for the first time, at .
. the end of 2003. The disc turned out to be so interesting .
. that Lemon8 decided to pass the plans on his label, the .
. dutch Bandung Records. Stefano Greppi passed an other .
. single on Screen Rec. as well, which was entitled .

. Even the M.A.S. Collective felt their talent and they .
. asked Cassino & Laben a remix for the Canadian United .
. Tribal Warriors’s plan entitled "Deep Jungle", published .
. in march 2004 on label Mo-Do, which had already passed .
. them an other plan, entitled "Lasting Memories" Feat. .
. Marina Puglisi song writer, a young talented italian .

. Cassino & Laben are now cooperating with Claude "Ma-Te" .
. too, under the name of "Arenok". Their first project was .
. entitled "Free Yourself", at the time played and reviewed .
. by various artists (Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Perry .
. O’Neil, Stefano Greppi, Mas Collective, etc...), which the .
. remix of Stel is confirmed (Audiotherapy) for and released .
