Israel's most unique electronic dance act - Sub6 are back to
save the day!
Brothers Ohad & Golan Aharoni are back with a fresh slice of
future funk electro trance. 5 brand new tracks, produced to
sonic perfection and ready to rumble.
SavedÆ' is the first release of Sub6 for 2007. A massive
electro-pop anthem featuring emotional vocals embodied in
the unique sub-atmosphere that became Sub6's trade mark
since the release of their award winning debut album in 2004
- "Who needs love songs". This dance floor monster can
easily be intercepted as the freshest electronic style and
sound to come out of Israel at the moment!
æStand with meÆ is another high frequency epic dance floor
anthem with rolling baselines and sonic vocals, followed by
æAshkadakakaÆ , an hypnotic tribal techno rhythm which stops
only for outstanding breaks that redefine the meaning of
electronic dance music. Continuing the musical journey and
more on the edge of futuristic psy-trance is a collaboration
track with HOMmega's new "beam of light" û Intelabeam. The
breathtaking journey concludes with æControl meÆ, a
collaboration project with Astrix, which just got licensed
for Ministry of SoundÆs upcoming Gatecrasher compilation by
no.4 DJ in the world, Christopher Lawrence.
Sub6 are brothers Golan and Ohad Aharony. They started
making electronic music in 1999 and have become one of the
biggest trance acts in the world. After collaborating with
UK singer Michele Adamson on two big dance floor hits - "Ra
he'ya" and "7th son", They released their debut album û "Who
needs love songs" (titled as "Album of the year 2004" by the
Israeli DJ magazine), which is marked as a milestone in
electronic dance music as it forms an ultimate fusion
between club oriented trance music and rave power creating
an inspiring journey through Psychedelic Trance, Tech-house
and club trance fused together on top of 'juicy' baselines
and an uncompromising drive using vocals and crossovers
between trance and house elements. This new style of trance
that the band have created is a 'breath of fresh air' in
trance music. Sub6 tracks were remixed by the likes of GMS,
Shanti, Wrecked Machines, Ticon, Chakra and many more...Sub6
have performed live in massive events around the world such
as Psychedelic Academy (UK), Voov Experience (Germany),
Gathering (Japan), Arvika (Sweden), Earthcore's Global
Carnaval (Australia), Tribe 5 (Brazil), Sonica (Italy),
Vortex (South Africa), Sonnenklang (Austria) and Atmosphere
(Switzerland).The brothers tend to spice up their live show
by hosting Israeli MC Jah-natan. Works on the 2nd Sub6 album
have started. It is scheduled to be released toward the end
of 2006.The album will feature a variety of styles ranging
from down tempo electro to high octane hard trance including
collaborations with label mate Astrix and various
singers/producers.
