   release notes:

"Cataclysm" is the new album by Oscillotron, the solo project of David
Johansson (frontman of Swedish doom metal band Kongh, as well as
touring/session member of Cult Of Luna and Switchblade respectively).
The album is the follow-up to the acclaimed debut album "Eclipse"
(2013), a soundscape reminiscent of old horror influenced prog rock
fleshed out into an ambient dream state.

While the main vision and atmosphere from the debut is largely kept
intact, the new album "Cataclysm" is in many ways a vast progression
from its predecessor. Made primarily with analog synthesizers,
mellotron and drum machines, "Cataclysm" is a versatile, yet uniform
experience where the character of early electronic music meets the
unsettling and dark resonance of horror and sci-fi movie scores of the
   70's and early 80's.
