Solo Moderna finished recording his debut album called
'Boogalookalikes" that will be released this spring on Social Beats.
Solo Moderna is Bas Voorn, a producer who did two very successful
12ös (Mambossa 72 & Ghetto Stomp) on our label with Combo Moderna and
delivered us two nice jazzy tracks on the Socialized Jazz Beats
compilation. Now he is ready to release his first solo album. His
currently musical obsession is searching for all global aspects of
music, which includes futuristic jazz and latin, balkan original and
freestyle, real boogaloo and some weird cocktailmusic. As a Dutch cut
and paste artist he samples the world and blends it with an
expressive approach. His unique warm sounding party stomps keep
people moving all around the globe with the likes of dj's that
matters. Of course some of his new tracks will also be available on
wax.
