█░█ KKG is one of my favourite bands. Their music is █░█
█░█ like a cake with many layers, each of those █░█
█░█ layers different from the others but equally █░█
█░█ sweet. When you bite through all of the layers █░█
█░█ you can taste them all but they don't fight in █░█
█░█ your mouth. █░█
█░█ █░█
█░█ Frontman Milosz Sikora formed the band in late █░█
█░█ 2004 by posting an ad online asking for musicians █░█
█░█ to play his songs. Matt Charters (guitar), Owen █░█
█░█ Cherry (drums) and Andy The Metler (bass) █░█
█░█ answered the call, and eventually the band would █░█
█░█ add Melissa Djurakov on Rhodes and, for a brief █░█
█░█ period, Andrea Smirle on cello. After spending a █░█
█░█ summer recording at Andy Magoffin's House Of █░█
█░█ Miracles, they released their first EP, Hurry!, █░█
█░█ in August 2005. The Metler was needed on his home █░█
█░█ planet and was replaced by former Flamingo-gos █░█
█░█ bass player Lisa Rafferty. Before he left he █░█
█░█ performed with the band on their next EP, Based █░█
█░█ On A True Story, which was released in December █░█
