PLAY label release their first single artist album on 22nd July
2002, from Sweden's acclaimed electro /techno /dub fusionists The
Mighty Quark.
"Siverdale" is The Mighty Quark's second album and features Andy
Bell of Oasis and Ride, PLAY label's own Quante Jubila, the vocals
of Papa Dee, who has contributed, to great acclaim, to various
releases by Leftfield, as well guest vocals from Lisa Wallden and,
on the haunting "Reasons To Love", Tom Somers.
So far the Quark have contributed a track to each of PLAY's highly
regarded 'STONE. SCISSORS. PAPER' compilation series, released a
split 12" with Japan's Takayuki Shiraishi, charted at No. 2 in DJ
Pathaan's Leftfield chart in DJ Magazine, and feature on the
current PLAY V004 EP alongside Pressure Drop.
