The new Blockwerk release "Straight Forward" reflects an
attitude of urban communication and networking. Blockwerk
hooked up with DJs from all over the world in order to
present completely different, yet related styles on a
four-track 12" vinyl and a five-track CD Maxi.
The Blockwerk club-pop-track "Straight Forward" features
thoughtful vocals by KC on a thriving groove, followed by
a genuine instrumental rework by DJ Erik Sumo (Pulver
records) featuring a Russian children's poem presented by
Maxim.
Austria's most renowned DJane Electric Indigo delivers a
clever minimal technoid remix. On the CD Maxi edition,
you can check a fine trance-remix by Brazilian DJ Leo
Breanza aka BKR. And last but not least a skilful
Re-Toast 'pon de riddim' in a raga muffin style by DJ
Collage (Seattle, US).
