Pandamonium and label founder Norma Jean have both been quiet as of
late but in the late 90s they put together a deliciously chilled
house with the spotlight on NJB's sweet sax and vocal stylings.
Some of the Panadmonium cuts received wider exposure on KDJ, Fnac,
Funky Chocolate and Peacefrog releases.
NJB's follow up to "Bitch" was first released on this single Panda
12" and later followed up by a double-pack. The subtle Moodymann
mix (Track 3) only appears in edited version on that double-pack
though so here you get all 11 + minutes as he slowly develops the
groove (kicking it up at about 3 minutes in and not letting go!).
Fun fact? Seems that Norma Jean got her chops playing with Zappa's
Mothers of Invention in the mid 70s.
