     Release Notes:

Drawing from over 25 years of recordings made for the RCA and
Columbia labels, covering the key years of her career, The
Very Best of Dolly Parton Vol 2 presents another stunning
selection of key tracks. The music ranges from early
renditions of country standards ('Harper Valley PTA') and her
own early compositions ('Joshua'), through to her graduation
as one of the biggest names in music in the late 70s and the
concepts and collaborations which followed. The dance rhythms
of 'Higher And Higher' contrast with the gathering of country
stars such as Willie Nelson, Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn on
memorable songs such as 'Put It Of Until Tomorrow' and 'I
     Really Don't Want To Know'.

Through every track and every setting, Dolly stands out as a
true music superstar, and with interest in her music at an all
time high, The Very Best of Dolly Parton Vol 2 will appeal
directly to her many fans old and new.
