This new Gomma 12" fuses elements from the past with distinctly
modern techniques for an interesting outcome. "Lucky In Vichy"
samples the vocal from the classic weird disco of Dinosaur L's "Go
Bang!" and blends it in with synth-heavy tech-house. The B-side
"Magic Touch" presents a very different aural experience, mixing
various drums and percussion for a decidedly odd yet intriguing
pastiche. Beginning with a cluttered collection of atmospheric
samples and a post-Paperclip People groove, the breakdown brings
with it a completely separate time signature and drum break.
