"lonely hearts" is one of the stand-out tracks from joakim's
"monsters & silly songs" album, a superb french new wave song that
captures the innocence of early 80s electronic pop with the
benefit of cynical hindsight. the dfa's tim goldsworthy applies
the touch of his loving hand on the a-side remix, conjuring up
over nine minutes dynamic sub-acid warehouse techno. the 12" also
contains a subterranean dub styled mix and acappella.
