█ Without a doubt, MICFIELDS (pronounced "Mike █
█ Fields") is destined to be a legend in the world █
█ of entertainment. Born Michael Devron Fields to █
█ Pastor Marcus D. Fields, Sr. and First Lady Robin █
█ U. Fields, he was introduced to music and █
█ entertainment as an infant. When they were in █
█ high school, his mother and father first met by █
█ way of their respective church choirs. Divinely, █
█ their musical gifts were transferred to each of █
█ their four children. █
█ █
█ As a toddler, MICFIELDS' musical foundation was █
█ birthed by way of his father's gospel singing █
█ group, The Jubilee Travelers. Innately, he and █
█ his three siblings learned how to perform, but it █
█ was soon obvious to his parents that he was able █
█ to simulate almost anything he saw on television █
█ or heard on the radio. Whenever there were family █
█ dinners or gatherings, church plays, school █
█ talent shows, or local events, MICFIELDS' parents █
█ and siblings would always urge him to entertain █
█ and put on a show. Even back then, MICFIELDS █
█ understood the art of giving people what they █
█ want and leaving them wanting for more. █
█ █
█ Today, MICFIELDS stands out as an undiscovered █
█ phenomenon. He is a gifted singer, dancer, actor, █
█ musician, model, and composer with the talent and █
█ desire to become a complete entertainer. Though █
█ MICFIELDS' biggest influence in entertainment has █
█ been by Michael Jackson, his primary musical █
█ influences have been the legendary performers of █
█ the old Motown sound and reviews. In addition, █
█ groups such as The Temptations, New Edition, Take █
█ 6, and Boyz II Men and solo artists such as █
█ Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, D'angelo, and Brian █
█ McKnight have helped to shape his niche in music █
█ and performance. █

█ Whether playing the drums since the age of two or █
█ the alto saxophone since age 10, MICFIELDS' █
█ interest in the field of music has never wavered █
█ as continually he strives to perfect his skills. █
█ He taught himself how to transfer his mental █
█ melodies and ideas onto the piano, keyboard, and █
█ guitar. His compositions reflect a sensitive, █
█ sincere, and even humorous side. █

█ To date, MICFIELDS continues to hone his craft by █
█ recording and performing as much as possible. He █
█ is affiliated with SESAC as both a songwriter and █
█ publisher. His vast experiences include being the █
█ 2005 National Winner of the Navan Sessions Talent █
█ Search competition, opening shows for Glenn █
█ Lewis, Jon B., Bobby Brown, Ludacris, Freeway, █
█ and other artists, headlining special events in █
█ Washington D.C. area clubs, and performing at █
█ various other events. Also, MICFIELDS has been in █
█ various singing bands and singing groups- all of █
█ which have helped him create a genuine sound of █
█ his own. As an actor, he is currently cast as █
█ "Reverend Davis" in "A Change Is Coming", a █
█ contemporary gospel stage play written by Michael █
█ McCorkle for One Stage Productions, Inc. █

█ MICFIELDS calls his style "eclectically █
█ original", because his music cannot be easily █
█ cast into just one category simply because his █
█ style is a mixture of various genres and █
█ cultures. What sets him apart from all other █
█ artists is that he is able to effectively utilize █
█ the influences of his past and blend them with █
█ his own creative musical genius. His sound is █
█ authentic, as it has won the hearts of all in the █
