Release Notes:

2007 release from the robot developed in the early 1980's by greedy billionaire
William Jennings Wellworth as an expensive prototype capable of human feeling
and extensively analog-programmed with an encyclopedic knowledge of the popular
music of the era, with the idea of creating the worldÆs first robot pop star,
capable of writing hit songs. Essentially force-fed huge libraries of Soft Cell,
The Human League and the like, high expectations that Wolfgang would pay
Wellworth back in kind with huge record sales and royalties never materialized.
Almost 20 years later, as WellworthÆs old factory in Brooklyn was being
converted into expensive condominiums, Wolfgang was found in a dumpster by a
group of young activists. Their nurturing care enabled Wolfgang to demonstrate
the abilities Wellworth had originally intended. Developing special feelings for
one of his handlers, Wolfgang was inspired to begin writing songs for the very
first time. The robot's saga commences with this release.
