Sasso returns to the re-edit with killer versions of The Jacksons
and Roy Ayers for the newly established edit series. "Heartbreak
Hotel" is an almost forgotten gem that was originally released in
1980 as "This Place Hotel". Sasso puts his Brazilian influences to
one side and lets the groove loose, turning this into a modern day
boogie masterpiece. We all know that "We Live In Brooklyn Baby" is
one of Roy Ayers most atmospheric and attitude-packed tracks. Here
Sasso has dubbed it out and toughened things up, ripping the
original Harry Whitaker arrangement to pieces and leaving us with a
synth-led, bass heavy edit that is sure to win any dancefloor over.
