The Storyboards is the name for the music of John Foust,
a basement auteur who crafts intelligent and melodic songs
that are steeped in the classics of AM radio and filtered
through the self-conscious retrospection of DIY indie rock.

Stagger & Sway is Foust's first record as The Storyboards.
It offers up a diverse yet coherent collection of evocative
songs ranging from the T-Rex boogie of "Oh Jackie" and the
Big Star power-pop of "Eileen" to the quiet county swagger
of "Winter & Wine." Performed with all of the heart and
ambition you'd expect from a one man band, Stagger & Sway
