░ Kalimax. ░

░ Kalimax is a progressive, psychedelic, and goa ░
░ trance project, known for its dark, pumping beats, ░
░ twisted melodies, and futuristic soundscapes. This ░
░ Swedish duo, formed by Magnus Forsberg and Tony ░
░ Comanti (a.k.a. Lone Ranger), became a powerful ░
░ force in the trance scene with music that ░
░ resonated across underground parties and ░
░ established clubs alike. ░
░ ░
░ Magnus, a seasoned musician from Stockholm, began ░
░ his musical journey in the early Æ90s, playing ░
░ drums and guitar in a heavy metal band. However, ░
░ his experience with electronic music traces back ░
░ to the 1980s when he produced on a Commodore 64, ░
░ later experimenting with trackers on an Amiga. In ░
░ the early 90s, Magnus transitioned to modern ░
░ sequencers, learning his craft on Cubase and ░
░ Logic. By the end of the decade, he met Tony, an ░
░ event organizer with Moonflower Productions, and ░
░ they formed Kalimax in late 2000, using PCs and ░
░ Logic to produce their first tracks. ░
░ ░
░ Kalimax quickly gained a reputation for high- ░
░ energy live performances. Their most iconic moment ░
░ came at the legendary Docklands Club in Stockholm ░
░ in 2001, where they performed alongside Astral ░
░ Projection just before the clubÆs historic ░
░ closing. The duo continued to bring their intense ░
░ sound to audiences across the underground scene, ░
░ including another standout set with Astral ░
░ Projection in Denmark in 2007. ░
░ ░
░ Today, Magnus carries forward the spirit of ░
░ Kalimax with his solo project Cosmic Serpent, ░
░ exploring the realms of psytrance and goa trance ░
░ with fresh sounds and relentless energy. This ░
░ album release is a celebration of KalimaxÆs ░
░ lasting impact and a nod to the electrifying pulse ░
░ of the early 2000s trance scene. Dive into this ░
