they say that they have a slight distance to themselves, right!?
**whether you are enjoying a good book in your favorite arm-chair
or building up for a night out at the club, the sound of physics
will
enhance your mood. you will always find something new, each time
you listen to the beats, these two fine lads produce**
physics consists of toby olsson and mikael surdi. they are in
their early thirties and based in malmoe, sweden. they started
their musical careers in the eighties in various indie bands.
physics is only a couple of years old and they have slowly built
up a nice studio were they spend most of their time producing so
many new tracks that even i'm surprised. since the first time i
heard them, about 2 years ago, i still haven't heard a bad track
from them. they want to create the music with real musicians and
they work closely with great people in their surroundings.
their sound has become physics unique, which means that you will
recognize them just listening to the music. it's so well produced
and they really put their soul into the music. believe me, it is
the sound of the future! on our label you can expect the physics
sound to be soulful, jazzy, very sensual and high quality deep
house.
you'll hear a lot from these guys on deeplay music this year. they
started our releases with an outstanding ep called flights over
bermuda which was released in march 2001. they set the standards
for our label, and you can expect more beautiful music from them
further on.
they have already got very good reviews around the world from
various press and djs.
they're in the studio producing their debut album which is planned
for release in march 2002.
their favourite labels are: under dunder recordings, guidance,
naked music, blue note, large, peng, f-com, brique rouge and
deeplay music (of course)
