Helsinki Cooler vol. 2 presents insights into a multifaceted
soundscape of Finnish electronic jazz fusion. Since the previous
volume was a tribute to the flourishing forms of jazz and electronica
from already established Finnish artists, the emphasis of Cooler vol.
2 is on presenting fresh stuff from the new generation. Helsinki
Cooler vol. 2 is a tribute to the spirit of jazz, the spirit of
openness. It encourages artists to express themselves freely and use
their love for sound to choreograph their moods and feelings. The
second volume includes versatile reinterpretations of electronic jazz
fusion: dreamlike moods, guitar soundscapes, soft electronic textures
and wistful melodies. It highlights the personality of the new
Cymbidium line-up: Saine, Happy-Go-Lucky, Sora and Coalition Earth;
each creating a sound that is unique. Other artists- D Fast,
Headphonics (Exogenic), Accu (Exogenic) Slow (Plastinka) and Ran
introduce their timeless sonic journeys, all taking electronica to
new horizons. The concept of Helsinki Cooler is music with an ear for
the past, an eye for the future and a heart for the flow. It's about
being inspired by Helsinki, which has a vibe of it own. It's about
