:: Release Notes:
::
:: E Jugend is a side project consisting of members of German
:: experimentalists, Ma Cherie For Painting. This collection of
:: fragmentary sonic art has been captured between the years
:: 2001 and 2005 and brought together as a coherent album piece.
:: ItÆs uneasy listening of the highest calibre and is sure to
:: please fans of the more avant-hard spectrum of
:: laptop-and-guitar improv.
::
:: It all sounds so wonderfully erratic, at the brink off
:: falling apart as if overcome by the sheer amount of musical
:: ideas scrapping for attention. Take for instance Mary Harbour
:: which combines aching acoustic guitar melodies, pulsing
:: electronic drones and snatches of euphoric Mellotron. ThereÆs
:: the undeniable (anti?))poppy rush of Balkan Express pt 2 and
:: its incongruous collision of field recordings, cello
:: scrapings, brutal, minimal percussion, deep keyboard melodies
:: and treated post-rock-guitar melodic suss.
