Does anyone remember the early rough acid tracks of a very :::::::::
young Johannes Heil in co-operation with his Bad Nauheim :::::::::
mate Heiko Laux as Item One on uturn (01 "The Flash of :::::::::
Sound") and kanzleramt records (07 "Contact") ? :::::::::

Item One's "No Gain, No Pain" (released in 1995 on i220) :::::::::
became a massive club-hit and has been released on 3 :::::::::
different records including a double 12inch with remixes :::::::::
by Mike Ink, Ricardo Villalobos,John Selway and others. :::::::::

The "Brainsurfer" 12inch on Richard Bartz's Kurbel label :::::::::
followed successfully in '96. :::::::::
"Balls", the latest Item One appearance, was released in :::::::::
1998 as one of four tracks in total on the Kurbel no. 10 :::::::::
Various Artists 12inch. :::::::::
"Sliced Behaviour" , the first Item One record since 4 :::::::::
years, got recorded in early summer 2002 @ dialog park in :::::::::

Some say we have grown to a mature group now that we are 2 years :::::.
old. We will keep pumpin out nice electronic music releases like ::::::
we have done for the past 2 years :) So we guess there is nothing ::::::
more to say than this: ::::::

The artists we deal with are not rock stars. They don't pretend ::::::
to be 'the man'. They're not part of the establishment, the multi- ::::::
million dollar music business. So the only way our scene can stay ::::::
alive is through undying support for the artists and labels. *THIS* ::::::
is the sole reason we release music... ::::::
::::::
So for fuck's sake, if you like what your hear, go to your local ::::::
record shop and purchase a copy of your own. It's your duty! Only ::::::
through this process we can all continue to enjoy techno music to ::::::
the fullest. As far as our releases go, if you can get hold of them, ::::::
be happy and treasure them. Don't start posting to public domains ::::::
or sources!! This will eventually result in a more restricted ::::::
distribution of our releases, possibly even only internal... ::::::
The choice is yours... ::::::
