praxis must be deep and dark and painfully trendy but it was sunny
outside and ronaldo was on the telly and.... well, you know how it
is. so what we have here is more rio than twilo and, while it's
not exactly a samba party, it's as near as you're likely to get to
one when a litle broke from the north-east of england is doing the
choosing.
i've tried to incorporate a wide a sweep of mmusic on this
compilation, and i spent nay hours sweating like a sunday league
full back to select various eras, styles and tempos of music. i
was aslo mindful of the fact that it should also work well when
mixed together in the barely competent manner for which i have
become renowned. i wanted something that sounded as good snuggled
up on the sofa with a vat of pharmaceuticals and a comely young
maiden as it might on the dancefloor of a nightclub. i hope i've
gone some way to achieving this. i'm very happy with it, but then
i'm very happy when grimsby town avoid relegation so perhaps my
expectations are particularly low. anyhow, in the words of karl
marx, let the history be the judge (though, admittedly, i dont
think hew was talking about disco music)
