| | Two evil darkside tracks from X-Certificate | |
| | here on Ibiza. Their second release for | |
| | the Ibiza label, and the first using this | |
| | name (their first was IRO22, under their | |
| | own names DJ Genisis and Kenny X). They | |
| | also released several tunes on the Ibiza | |
| | sister label, Limited E Edition. | |
| | | |
| | The A-side, "Take Me", uses more samples from | |
| | that Kariya tune (you know the one, i'm | |
| | undoubtedly sure), squealing "your eyes say | |
| | take me home". This track also has one of | |
| | the most rugged breaks I've heard in an | |
| | oldskool tune -- only for the headstrong, be | |
| | forewarned! | |
| | | |
| | On the flipside, "Dark Affair" is more of the | |
| | same, but using different vocal samples. | |
| | This one uses the same "and i will love only | |
| | you, whoa-oh-oh-oh" sample used in the | |
| | hard house tune "Only Me" by Hyperlogic. Not | |
| | entirely sure where it originally comes from, | |
| | if anyone knows answers on a postcard to SOUR | |
| | HQ... you know the score. | |
