| | 4 The Floor is another one of the ever | |
| | popular "ripoff" series of releases prevalent | |
| | back in the day. Some of the more famous | |
| | ones are Slipmatt's "SMD" series, Vibes' | |
| | "Naughty Naughty" tunes, and of course the | |
| | Slammin Vinyl boys "?" releases. 4 The Floor | |
| | is one of the lesser known series, but it | |
| | still has a high quality to it. This | |
| | particular release tightens up two anthems | |
| | in a '95 hardcore style. The A-side sees | |
| | Congress' "40 Miles" being sped up and spun | |
| | rapidly around, while on the flip side you | |
| | have a remix of the classic "Music 4 Da | |
| | People" by Yolk which doesn't come close to | |
| | the originals, but provides a nice diversion | |
| | rather than playing the anthemic versions | |
| | that have all been heard before time and | |
| | again. Good stuff all around here. | |
