| | Return of the oldskool - you know the score! | |

| | Yet another instant classic on this | |
| | two-tracker for y'all. This marks the first | |
| | teaming of DJ Vibes, aka Shane Levan, and | |
| | Wishdokta, aka Grant Nelson. While Wishdokta | |
| | had previously recorded a string of singles | |
| | for the Kickin' label, this was Vibes' first | |
| | appearance on wax, and what a debut. The | |
| | A-side, "Obsession (Music's So Wonderful)" is | |
| | one of those quality tunes that managed to | |
| | bridge several different scenes at the same | |
| | time, walking the fine line between happy | |
| | hardcore and darkside jungle techno. | |
| | Whatever you want to call it, it's undeniably | |
| | an anthem and it's been given its due in | |
| | remix form several times over the years. The | |
| | first remix appeared on ASYLUM002, and then | |
| | another remix showed up again a few years | |
| | later in 1996 on ASY007, the last release on | |
| | Asylum. More recently, there's been a | |
| | trancecore remix done by DJ Kaos, as well as | |
| | a new-skool D&B remake which is fairly | |
| | faithful to the original, only available on a | |
| | white label. The flipside features the also | |
| | excellent "Sing It Loud", a hands-way-up-in- | |
| | the-air tune with vocals you'll find yourself | |
| | singing along to. Two timeless tracks from | |
| | these masters. | |
