| | The debut release on the Boombastic Plastic | |
| | label, as well as the first release from | |
| | Citadel Of Kaos, is a little slice of | |
| | hardcore history. COK was a duo compromised | |
| | of Jan Salisbury, aka Justin Time and one | |
| | third of Triple J, and Jason Cambridge, who | |
| | is now better known as A-Sides but also | |
| | recorded under the name Sunshine Productions. | |
| | This EP, their first together, is a mish-mash | |
| | of samples hastily thrown together from all | |
| | sorts of other sources, including many other | |
| | hardcore tunes that got blatantly ripped off. | |
| | However, as is true with all the great | |
| | oldskool tunes, it's not so much what you | |
| | have to say rather than how you say it, and | |
| | these tracks have a intensely furious, | |
| | single-minded energy to them, one that would | |
| | carry over through their next four EPs | |
| | together before disbanding and going their | |
| | separate ways (Justin Time going off | |
| | to the Just Another Label camp, while A-Sides | |
| | was recording for Mark Ryder's Strictly | |
| | Underground before starting up his own | |
| | Eastside label). | |
