| | Two slamming darkside jungle tekno tracks | |
| | from Dynamic are what make up this, the first | |
| | release on Lucky Spin offshoot label Dee Jay | |
| | Recordings. This label was to go on to be | |
| | the home of many a classic choon, such as the | |
| | original "Spiritual Aura" by Engineers | |
| | Without Fears (aka DJ Rap), the remixes of | |
| | Johnny Jungle's "Johnny", Splash's "Babylon", | |
| | and many a hit from DJ Crystl (who also did | |
| | the art that appeared on the B-side's | |
| | labels). | |
| | | |
| | The A-side on this release, "Rule The | |
| | Dancefloor", is a tremendous tune with some | |
| | classic sampled ragga vocals as well as many | |
| | a different sample telling you to feel the | |
| | energy, feel the bass, and feel the vibe. A | |
| | chunky breakbeat and rumbling bassline add to | |
| | the mayhem. On the flipside, you have "Your | |
| | Son Is Back", a nod to 4 Hero's seminal "Mr | |
| | Kirk's Nightmare" with the vocal sample from | |
| | that changed slightly to "Mr Kirk? Your son | |
| | is BACK." Freaky stuff. | |
