| | Alaska is 27 year old Dev Paradox. His career | |
| | started when 'Mixrace' was formed in 1989 | |
| | with partner DJ Trax. Their first release was | |
| | in 1991 on Moving Shadow Records, only 17 at | |
| | the time, Mixrace had a big track with 180 | |
| | bpm'd Hardcove fave 'Two bad for Ya'. | |
| | | |
| | As time progressed, Dev and Trax set up their | |
| | own operations namely Stronghold and Offsett | |
| | Records, achieving success that enabled them | |
| | to set up their own studios. | |
| | | |
| | Since the early Moving Shadow days, Dev has | |
| | moved on, still occasionaly recording under | |
| | Mixrace but also doing solo projects under | |
| | the names 'Alaska' and 'Paradox'. Dev has | |
| | recorded for an array of labels such as 4 | |
| | Hero's Legendary Reinforced, LTJ Bukem's Good | |
| | Looking, Certificate 18, Partisan, Renegade | |
| | Hardware, Timeless, Total Science's C.I.A, | |
| | Blame's 720 Degrees, Nexus, Subject 13's | |
| | Vibez, Sonica, Archive Recordings in Milan | |
| | and as well as collaborating with artists | |
| | such as EZ Rollers, Flytronix, Subject 13, | |
| | Nucleus and Volcov. | |
| | | |
| | Remixing credits include 4 Hero for Talkin | |
| | Loud, Justice for Recordings of Substance, | |
| | Yasushi Ide for Warner Brothers - Japan, | |
| | James Hardway, Trax for Lacerbra, Italian act | |
| | Volcov and Japanese cartoon companies Manga | |
| | and Marine Entertainment. | |
| | | |
| | With General releases approaching the 50 | |
| | mark, Dev has entered the Live PA scene with | |
| | a series of 2 hour shows. With performances | |
| | already this year in Italy, Germany, | |
| | Switzerland and America. Dates are confirmed | |
| | in Ireland, Canada, Austria, Tokyo, Iceland | |
| | and Belgium, so the year is far from over for | |
| | Dev. | |
| | | |
| | Paradox is also endorsed by Full Circle | |
| | Clothing and Acupuncture footwear, and in | |
| | conjunction with the mighty shoe firm, Dev | |
| | will be playing a series of dates from Europe | |
| | to America with Acupuncture/Paradox | |
| | Productions. A press campain featuring Dev is | |
| | also in the pipeline. | |
