After shaking the scene with their hard-hitting 2022 release "Our
Idols Are Filth," Australian AVARICE IN AUDIO (Gerry and Lawrie)
disappeared from the radar, diving headfirst into the creation of their
most daring album yet. Now, after a long silence, they’re back with a
bang - introducing “Tear Heaven In Half,” their boldest, most
unpredictable record to date.
Packed with a whopping 17 tracks, "Tear Heaven In Half" is a sonic
rollercoaster, blending genres and defying expectations. From the
breakneck Drum N' Bass frenzy of “Wicked Die Alone,” the searing techno
beats of “You Are The Carbon,” to the hard-rock thump of “Who The
Monsters Are,” this album refuses to be pinned down. It’s raw, dark, and
aggressive when it wants to be, yet somehow finds space to be punchy,
addictive, and ridiculously catchy.
“Tear Heaven In Half” feels like a wild, schizophrenic ride through the
future of music—where distorted metallic vocals collide with sinister
synths, only to make way for massive, floor-filling anthems like “Coffin
On The Dancefloor” and “Leave The Kids Alone.” Every track offers
