░ Transient Records was founded in 1994 by Russel ░
░ Coultart and Lawrence Cooke, the names behind ░
░ Disco Volante as well. If you follow their links ░
░ on Discogs you will find out (in case you didn't ░
░ already know) that they have been behind a number ░
░ of other projects as well, mainly Butler & Wilson ░
░ and Floorplay. The Russel and Lawrence duo and ░
░ Transient Records were one of the very few labels ░
░ that managed to transition from Psychedelic to ░
░ Progressive Psychedelic or Progressive Trance ░
░ successfully (at least to my ears). ░
░ ░
░ Although the releases are numerous, scattered ░
░ among EPs and compilations, there was never an ░
░ album released. So I decided it is time to step ░
░ in. ░
░ ░
░ The release will be consist of 2 digipacks, each ░
░ one housing 4 CDs. Over 9 hours of music on 80 ░
░ tracks. Each digipack will be divided into 2 ░
░ parts, the Psychedelic Trance and Progressive ░
░ Trance side. I decided to keep the tracklist ░
░ similar to each digipack, with different versions ░
░ of the tracks shared between them. Think it like ░
░ the the A and B side of a EP, just much (much, ░
░ much, much) more extended play time :D. ░
░ ░
░ To keep that oldschool vibe and feeling I asked ░
░ the help of Rian Hughes. If you were reading the ░
░ credits back then, you will know that he was the ░
░ designer of most of the Transient series sleeves. ░
░ I would recommend following the links, he has been ░
░ very busy throughout the years and it is worth ░
░ diving deeper into his art. ░
░ Because of the different sources of the audio ░
░ material to be included in this release, Kristian ░
░ Thinning Andersen, of the Elysium fame, will also ░
