Homeworld's epic tale begins in the far reaches of the universe. You were
the benign lords of a peaceful society located in the center of a lush
spiral galaxy. For as long as anyone could remember, no one challenged
your peaceful existence. But then came the conquerors, invading with the
sole purpose of overtaking your world. Billions died, and the survivors
were relocated to a cold, lifeless planet on the edge of the galaxy.
Hundreds of years later, all knowledge of your previous existence has been
lost. Only vague myths remain, until the discovery of an ancient tablet
buried within the ruins of a half-destroyed craft in the great banded
desert. This Guidestone reawakened knowledge of your ancestry, and set
your race on the path home - coordinates leading straight into the heart
of the galaxy. Sixty years ago, construction began on the giant Mothership

Real-time strategy is one of the most exciting and entertaining genres of

Homeworld gives players a new level of freedom to create new styles of

Homeworld still maintains all of the standards of a strategy game - from
harvesting resources and exploring a huge environment to researching new
technologies and building dozens of vessels. However, Homeworld takes space
strategy in an exciting new direction by bringing the action into a 3D
world. By placing Homeworld in the boundless environment of deep space,
the only frontier to limit game strategy is your imagination. Unlike
strategy games that take place in two dimensions, there are no "choke
points" in Homeworld where troops pile up waiting to move from one side
of the map to the other. Instead, your enemy may attack from any direction.
You will manage all aspects of your Armada, even down to the color scheme
for the fleet and deciding when your ships need to dock for refueling.

First, lets note that the ORIGINAL release of this ISO was tested using
the most current version of BinChunker 1.7, which reported no errors in
the BIN file. It was decided that we would repack this game due to ECC
errors found with BinChunker 1.6, but we must note that the ECC errors
that were detected by BinChunker 1.6 did not affect the CD image integrity.
What you are getting now is an image that was tested in BOTH BinChunker
1.6 and 1.7. Here are the results:

Run the hwkeygen to get yourself a unique registration key. Be sure to
run it BEFORE installing the game coz you will need the generated key
for it and also for playing on Won.net!
