│ Developed by Shiny Entertainment - the company behind MDK and, most │
│ recently, Messiah - Sacrifice has a less gritty, futuristic feel, │
│ although it's set in a fantasy world. You play a powerful wizard who │
│ must travel across vast landscapes, engaging in huge battles, casting │
│ devastating spells and summoning monstrous beasts. │
│ │
│ There are 55 different creatures in all and a wide range of spells. The │
│ great thing is that hordes of creatures can appear on screen at the same │
│ time without any discernible slow-down of frame rate. │
│ │
│ You can influence the weather system through magic. Torrential rain, │
│ nfernal blazes, earthquakes and wind are just a few of the elemental │
│ weapons you can throw at your enemies, and it's possible to permanently │
│ alter the terrain in the process. │
│ │
│ The main point of the game, however, is to try to appease one of five │
│ gods, and to do so you need to gather your enemies' souls and sacrifice │
│ them at your altar, hence the title. Through fighting you gain more │
│ resources and more experience, and so equipping yourself with more power │
│ as you progress. │
│ │
│ The gods appear and offer you missions in the ethereal realm. The │
│ choices you make here will define which spells you can cast, so choosing │
│ the right god is very important. Play your cards right and your god may │
│ even grant you a boon to boost your statistics. │
│ │
│ CRACK NOTES: │

│ The game did not have any CD based copy protection, but it did sport a │
│ key. In order to make things easy on you, we have cracked the game so │
│ that you may use any key you wish, in the format xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx. │
│ After installing, copy over the cracked executable into your Sacrifice │
│ game directory, and have fun. This game is not officially available │
│ yet, so we don't recommend trying to play on the internet (besides, its │
│ very unlikely that the key you picked is in fact a legitimate, internet │
│ playable key), however it has been tested to work over the LAN. Make │
│ sure each installation has its own key, though, or you might run into │
│ problems. │
