║ Ok, so here's the story. Not so far into the future, a comet is ║
║ careening towards the Earth, but rather than obliterating all human ║
║ life (which would have made a rather short game), it instead passed ║
║ close by and littered the surface of the planet with meteorites. ║
║ Then, research staff who were assigned to examine the meteorites ║
║ mysteriously stop responding to communications, as do police and ║
║ military units sent in to investigate. It's time for you, you lucky ║
║ thing, as a member of an elite strike force to go in there and ║
║ sort it out. ║

║ Game Features.: ║

║ Missions range from your typical scientist rescue to taking ║
║ alien-held bases, as you attempt to reclaim the world from the slimy ║
║ invaders. The most appealing ingredient is the solidity of the world ║
║ you interact with. ║
║ The motion of the camera can be disconcerting to begin with, but it ║
║ gradually grows on you, and the fluidity of movement, weapon-firing, ║
║ and sniper-functions truly draw you into the game. ║
║ ║
║ The graphics engine boasts directional lighting, dynamic color ║
║ illumination, volumetric fog, realistic water surfaces, and figures ║
║ comprising up to 1000 polygons, wrapped in a stunning particle system ║
║ explosion system. In practice, it all looks very nice. ║
