    │                           │█      DJ Friendly is the leading downbeat/ambient
    │                           │█      DJ in Norway, and has for several years
    │                           │█      hosted his after hours weekend shows on the
    │                           │█      national station NRK Petre, with the main
    │                           │█      focus on ambient, chillout and downbeat. So
    │                           │█      he was a natural choice when Beatservice
    │                           │█      decided to put together a collection of
    │                           │█      Norwegian vocal downtempo. The
    │                           │█      Beatservice-boss Vidar Hanssen and DJ
    │                           │█      Friendly's alter ego Erik Eriksson put their
    │                           │█      wise heads together, and compiled tracks
    │                           │█      from more or less obscure 7", 10" and
    │                           │█      12"-ers, vocal tracks from otherwise
    │                           │█      instrumental downbeat albums, a few goodies
    │                           │█      from indie-rock bands flirting with downbeat
    │                           │█      and electronica elements, and some exclusive
    │                           │█      tracks from demos sent to his radio show.
