So I was enjoying this subway sitar player for a while the
other day, and he mentioned he had a CD... It's properly
pressed, not a CDR.
I've tagged it Ethnic, as it's primarily sitar jams, but it's
not traditional Hindustani classical music. Where you'd expect
a tamboura drone, you get digeridoo instead. There's some
keyboard (subtle) and drums (less subtle), and a few slightly
avant-garde departures if you pay attention.
I was afraid this might turn out to be some horrible new-age
thing, but I was pleasantly surprised by how listenable this
is!
