In wenigen Tagen am 8.11. erscheint das erste Album der Ein-Mann-
Band Embrace of Sorrow. Bereits Anfang des Jahres ist das Debuet
die EP äForgotten Solitudeô in Eigenregie erschienen und nach
der Rezension, folgte ein Interview bei Seelenfeuer. Nun also
wird Seelenfeuer als eines der ersten Webzines ueber das neue
Album äEternal Mourningô schreiben. Wieder in Eigenregie
entstanden, kann ich bereits direkt schon mal festhalten, dass
die Stuecke mehr Tiefgang haben und wieder sehr persoenlich
ausgefallen sind. Atmosphaerischer BM, vorwiegend im mittleren
und langsamen Tempobereich angesiedelt, sind die Merkmale des
Albums, welches inklusive Intro und Outro 9 Songs umfasst.
Bisher ist nur eine digitale Version des Albums geplant. Das
Artwork sieht fantastisch aus.
Ein kurzes stimmungsvolles Intro leitet das Album ein und ja
das kann sich wirklich hoeren lassen. Die Stuecke sind
dynamischer und druckvoller und mehr auf den Punkt gebracht als
noch auf der EP, obwohl die schon richtig gut klingt, fuer ein
erstes Lebenszeichen. Die Weiterentwicklung merkt man den
Stuecken zu jedem Zeitpunkt an. Musikalisch duerfte man den Weg
gefunden haben, denn spielerisch und auch atmosphaerisch koennen
das Album Akzente setzen. äEternal Mourningô ist ein sehr
abwechslungsreiches und vor allem sehr persoenliches Album, in
dem der Protagonist seine Wut, Zorn aber auch Trauer
verarbeitet. Songs wie äReturn of the Brokenô wurden
eindrucksvoll in Szene gesetzt und bieten dabei so viele
Feinheiten. Die Produktion ist richtig fett geworden und das
wenn man bedenkt, dass das Album in Eigenregie entstanden ist
und bisher noch kein Label die Band finanziell unterstuetzt.
Schon die ersten kompletten Durchgaenge des Albums haben es
geschafft mich in seinen Bann zuziehen.
Fazit:
Mit einem solchen musikalischen Brecher wie äEternal Mourningô
hab ich persoenlich nicht gerechnet, aber was soll ich noch gross
um dem Brei reden, das Album zieht mich in seinen Bann und ich
tauche tief in das Werk ab. Embrace of Sorrow bitte lasst den
Hoerer weiter an den Gefuehlen und Emotionen teilhaben.
