After a string of releases on La MamieÆs Records, Visions Recording, Local
Talk Records, Maytra makes his vinyl debut on Swiss based label LΘman
records.
On this three-track EP, accompanied by a remix, Maytra delivers his own
vision of the deep-house genre, infused with a sense of melancholy. His
approach is instinctive, resulting in tracks that feel raw and unpolished,
embracing their imperfections.
Maytra heads the label Energy Exchange Records, which pays tribute to jazz
and live music. His solo productions draw inspiration from electronic music
and American artists such as Kyle Hall, Jay Daniel, and Hanna. Detroit
music stands as the cornerstone of his musical education ù for what it
represents and for its immense influence on todayÆs musical landscape.
